Chinese and Foreign Families in Colorful Theme Activities
On May 25, in the exciting drum music played by Mentougou Women Taiping Drum Performance Team, the "Happy Family, Beautiful Dream" opening ceremony and walking activity for Chinese-foreign families in Beijing Family Culture Art Festival jointly held by Beijing Women's Federation, Beijing Walking Association and Mentougou District People's Government were held at the Gate City Lake Park in Mentougou District. More than 600 international friends and family representatives from over 20 countries, including happy family representatives in the capital, diplomats and their families of embassies in China, foreign experts and their families in Beijing and foreign students in Beijing attended the event.
The activity includes launching ceremony and walking around park. At the launching ceremony, leaders from members of the coordination team for Beijing happy family creating activities presented awards to the ninth capital happy family representatives and excellent coordination organizations; the president of Beijing Walking Association, Shi Shaojie, awarded the Mentougou District branch; in the end, leaders and guests at the ceremony fired a shot together to give an order of starting walking around the park. Before the ceremony, sports expert, Teacher Zhao Zhixin, led Chinese and foreign families to warm up for walking.
