Beijing Women's Federation

On January 23, 2025, the Beijing Women’s Federation (BWF) received a delegation of over 50 members from the 8th Council of the All-China Women’s Federation Hong Kong Delegates Association Limited (WFDA). The delegation was warmly welcomed by Tan Hong, a member of the leading Party members group and Vice President of BWF; Song Wei, Level-One Inspector of the Liaison Department of the All-China Women’s Federation (ACWF); and Jiang Jing, Level-Two Inspector of the same department.

During their visit, the delegation toured the Grand Canal Museum of Beijing, gaining a deeper understanding of the Grand Canal’s history and cultural significance. At the Beijing Library, they immersed themselves in the city’s rich literary and cultural atmosphere. They also visited the Beijing Performing Arts Center, where they were captivated by the beauty of the arts and engaged in discussions with BWF representatives. Their in-depth exchanges covered topics such as the promotion of Chinese traditional culture and the development of women in both Beijing and Hong Kong. Held in a warm and engaging atmosphere, these discussions further deepened the friendship between women from the two regions.

Delegation members expressed deep admiration for the rapid development of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center and shared their hopes for continued and strengthened exchanges and cooperation between the women of Beijing and Hong Kong, emphasizing the importance of working together to contribute to the prosperity and development of both cities.
