Function of service:

Guide women and their family members to learn scientific and cultural knowledge to improve their comprehensive quality and help women to set up correct outlook on life, value and the spirit of “self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement”; advocate scientific, civilized, healthy and harmonious life concept and lifestyle to improve the quality of family life and promote family happiness and social harmony; help women in families in straitened circumstances and mobile families to grasp labor skills to improve their ability of entrepreneurship and employment.

Object of service:

Rural women, laid-off women in cities and towns, migrant women workers and so on; children's parents, single persons, smart lady, household service personnel, etc.; women cadres at all levels of the city, democratic parties, women’s councils of organizations, female organizations in all industries and other relevant personnel; the personnel in collective organizations such as administrative organs and enterprise and public institutions; targeted personnel in other departments of the women’s federation and affiliated public institutions.

Mode of service:

1) Organize lectures, forums and discussion activities to improve women’s ideology and culture quality, and regularly hold “Female • Family Lecture” to educate the audiences in the face-to-face communication with experts;

2) Hold exhibition activities involving scientific knowledge propagation, healthy life, handicrafts and other contents to popularize the knowledge of science and technology among women and families, improve the technological literacy of women and family members, and improve life quality;

3) Provide training on housekeeping, maternal and child care, flower arrangement, cooking and other items specific to laid-off women in cities and towns and migrant women workers; carry out training on practical skills, handwork, “smart lady”, etc. for rural women and women in poverty;

4) Launch training programs on vocational guidance and other items necessary for the society and the lives of residents under the entrustment of governments and relevant units.
