Happy cultural integration
Eric-Jan Van Haastrecht, a young man from the Netherlands, came to China in 2004. He got acquainted with Zhu Qiang, a Beijing girl who worked in a foreign company, by chance. They became lovers for sharing same hobbies such as sports and delicious foods. The couple likes traditional Chinese culture and they pay special attention to cultivating their children traditional Chinese culture. Their eldest daughter has been learning traditional Chinese paintings from childhood and she has got some achievements so far. Each year, the couple and their children will go back to the Netherlands to visit their family members, while they will definitely celebrate each Spring Festival with Zhu Qiang’s family here in Beijing.
