The Forum on Women in Sci-tech Innovation, a parallel forum of the 2023 Zhongguancun Forum, is held by the All-China Women's Federation, the Ministry of Science and Technology, China Association for Science and Technology and Beijing Municipal People's Government and undertaken by Beijing Women's Federation in Beijing on May 28. It is the first time that the forum on women in sci-tech innovation is held on the sidelines of the 2023 Zhongguancun Forum.

With the theme "She Power in Cutting-edge Technologies," the forum will invite women Nobel Prize laureates, academicians with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other outstanding women from home and abroad to hold talks on artificial intelligence, life sciences and other hot topics.

May-Britt Moser

May-Britt Moser, who received the Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine 2014, is a Norwegian neuroscientist and founder of the Center for Neural Computation at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She is committed to the research of positioning system in the brain, its cellular basis for higher cognitive function. Together with her husband Edvard Moser, she discovered cells that constitute a positioning system in the human brain and identified another type of nerve cell, which they called “grid cells”, that generate a coordinate system and allow for precise positioning and path finding..

In the forum, Moser introduces her latest research findings and speak about the outlook of global neural science.
