Liao Fulong is director of the Biomechanopharmacology Research Center of the Institute of Chinese Materia Medica and vice-director of the academic committee of Artemisinin Research Center, both under the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.
Liao has won several ministerial-level awards. He is former president of the International Society of Clinical Hemorheology, vice-president of the International Society of Biorheology, and board directors of six domestic academic institutions. Liao was an adviser of the traditional medicine development strategy (2010-2020) of the World Health Organization Western Pacific Region from 2010 to 2012.
At the forum, Liao attends the round-table talk and share his thoughts about how to fully leverage women's strength in sci-tech innovation and create a better life with science and technology.
