Function of service:

Serve for the spiritual and cultural needs of women and families for entertaining both mind and body by organizing a variety of vivacious cultural and sports activities conforming to the public interests.

Object of service:

Women cadres at all levels of the city, relevant personnel in women’s organizations in all industries and women and children in communities.

Mode of service:

With the “Home of Women” as a platform, and relying on the female culture and art troupes, sites of mass reading circle, women fitness demonstration sites and other fields of activities spreading all over the city, organize cultural and sports activities, family culture festivals, women and children’s cultural and sports festivals, reading, soliciting articles and making speeches and other activities which are rich in contents and forms to satisfy the spiritual and cultural needs of women and families and to realize the goal of approaching people's needs, maintaining women's physical and mental health, cooperatively building domestic peace, and jointly promoting social harmony.

With regard to high-end women in the capital, carry out topic discussion, special lectures, small training and other in-depth communication by taking female salon as a platform. Take full advantage of both domestic and international festivals to organize a variety of Sino-foreign fellowship activities. In recent years, Beijing Women's Federation has successively held the fellowship activities, including domestic and foreign women celebrating the International Working Women's Day (March 8) in the capital and the International Family Day together as well as other important activities. At present, Beijing   Women's Federation has established contact with 158 women and children’s organizations from 103 countries and regions and carried out extensive friendly cooperation.
