Beijing Women's Federation Holds Latest Activity to Promote Family Values

Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) held an event on December 10 to promote family traditions and virtues by displaying photos, drawings, stories and mottoes provided by local households.

The activity, which took place at the capital's Youth Palace, was jointly organized with the Publicity Department of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and Beijing's Civilization Office.

Around 2,000 works were shown at the event, attended by officials including Ma Lanxia, president and secretary of the Party leadership group of BWF; Bian Xiujun, deputy-director of the Civilization Office; and, Sun Fenglan, deputy-inspector of BWF.

Leaders from the Publicity Department, Education Commission and other departments directly under the Beijing government, as well as over 200 local representative families, also took part in the activity.
