Beijing Women's Federation

Women's federations at all levels across the country recently organized various meetings to guide officials and Party members to study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held last month.
 
Women's federation officials said that they will actively safeguard the authority and the unified leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as its core leader and deeply understand the thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.
 
Meanwhile, officials will improve their thoughts and actions by studying the congress spirit; contribute their efforts and wisdom to the implementation of various tasks put forward at the CPC congress; and, make a contribution to the realization of the "Chinese Dream" of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
 
Beijing Women's Federation
 
After the closing session of the CPC congress and the election of the new CPC Central leadership, the Party leadership group of Beijing Women's Federation immediately held a meeting to organize officials to study the spirit of the congress.
 
In accordance with federation reform and facts about women's work, officials talked about how to take specific measures to lead women's federations across the city to learn and implement the congress spirit.
 
Cai Shumin, president of Beijing Women's Federation, presided over the meeting.
 
Cai said Xi directly mentioned women and children's work several times in the report which reflects how the Party has attached great importance to the development of women and children's undertakings. Xi's remarks pointed out the direction and provided a fundamental guideline to promote women and children's causes.
 
Beijing Women's Federation will stick to the correct political stance and find the focus of women's work in the new era; adhere to the leadership of the Party and make an effort to publicize the congress spirit from different aspects; and, fulfill its political responsibility to advance women's work to reach a new level.
 
In the next step, Beijing Women's Federation will consider Xi's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as theoretical guidance to conduct work, especially based on the Party and government's urgent goals and women's needs.
 
Under the leadership of new CPC Central Committee with Xi as its core leader, the women's work in the capital will make new progress, Cai promised.
 
Tianjin Women's Federation
 
Dai Yun, president of the women's federation in north China's Tianjin Municipality, convened a meeting on October 27 to call on officials from the federation across the city to systemically study the congress spirit.
 
Dai noted that the CPC Central Committee has paid much attention to promoting women and children's affairs which can be seen from the report delivered at the CPC congress.
 
Local women's federation officials should regard the implementation of the congress spirit as their primary and long-term political task; thoroughly comprehend the important guiding significance of the CPC congress for the innovation and development of women and children; and, unite and encourage women to commit themselves to securing a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and strive for the great success of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.
 
According to the Party leadership group of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), local women's federations should play an active role in leading women to enthusiastically studying and implementing the congress spirit. Therefore, Dai urged women's federations at different levels to set an example for effective publicity of the congress spirit.
 
Chongqing Women's Federation
 
The women's federation in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality held a meeting on October 26 to convey the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
Ding Zhongping, president of the federation, stressed the importance of conveying, studying, comprehending, publicizing and implementing the congress spirit at the meeting.
 
Specifically, Ding said Women's Home centers and Women and Children's activity centers should do their best to publicize the congress spirit.
 
Meanwhile, the congress spirit should be implemented in various aspects of federation reform in depth, and should also be carried out through practical positions and actions.
 
Ding highlighted the importance of seizing the opportunity to promote federation reform in depth; encouraging women to play a positive role in advancing rural development; and, making efforts to publicize outstanding role models through telling stories related to Chongqing.
 
Shandong Women's Federation
 
The women's federation in east China's Shandong Province held an enlarged meeting on October 27, requiring all officials and Party members to seriously study the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
Zhang Hui, president of the federation, noted that studying and implementing the congress spirit is the federation's primary and long-term political task.
 
Women's federations across the province should rapidly inspire people from the general population to positively learn the congress spirit by taking flexible and diverse measures.
 
Officials should use Xi's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to enrich their mind as well as carry out their work, Zhang said.
 
Sichuan Women's Federation
 
Wu Xu, president of the women's federation in southwest China's Sichuan Province, organized a meeting on October 30 to convey the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
At the meeting, Wu urged women's federations at all levels to improve their political stance and take action to publicize the congress spirit in rural regions, communities and families.
 
Wu gave a detailed explanation in terms of how to implement the congress spirit in their special work.
 
Wu said efforts should be made to constantly improve work approaches so as to provide better services to women and children and the basic State policy of gender equality should also be firmly adhered to.
 
Combining with federation reform, officials should further strengthen their work's practical, advanced nature of serving women. Party building by the women's federation should be greatly advanced and the political task of an overall and strict governance of the Party should be implemented in practical tasks.
 
Focusing on various tasks put forward at the CPC congress, the preparation for the 13th Sichuan Women's Congress should be well handled next year, and women and children's work should be seriously planned in the next five years.
 
Xinjiang Women's Federation
 
The federation in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region held a meeting on October 26, calling on women from various industries to learn the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
At the meeting, 11 delegates to the CPC congress from Xinjiang discussed their feelings on comprehending the congress spirit.
 
Hou Hanmin, Party secretary and vice-president of Xinjiang Women's Federation, said studying and implementing the congress spirit is of great significance in stimulating the large number of female officials and Party members' enthusiasm and creativity which can help ensure the realization of the overall goal of Xinjiang's work.
 
Local women's federation officials should regard the study, publicizing and implementation of the congress spirit as their primary political task from now on.
 
Meanwhile, they are urged to make a positive plan to conduct the federations' work in future and positively publicize new methods and experiences of local women in learning the congress spirit.
 
Zhejiang Women's Federation
 
Wang Wenjuan, president of the women's federation in east China's Zhejiang Province, conveyed the spirit of the CPC congress at a meeting held on October 27.
 
Wang said that women's federations at all levels should promptly take action to lead every Party member to learn the congress spirit; pay great attention to solving those problems that have close connection with women and children to protect their rights and interests; and, improve Party building to maintain the political nature of the work of the federation in serving women.
 
Shaanxi Women's Federation
 
Gong Xiaoyan, president of the women's federation in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, presided over a meeting on October 27 where she called on officials to study the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
Gong urged women's federation officials to firmly strengthen the "Four Consciousnesses" (namely consciousnesses of the ideology, the whole, the core and the line) and "Four Comprehensiveness" (namely, to build a well-off society in an all-round way, to deepen reform comprehensively, to promote the rule of law comprehensively, and to govern the Party comprehensively), and use Xi's new thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era to enrich their mind and carry out their work.
 
The provincial women's federation will soon hold training on further interpreting the congress to help all officials to better comprehend its spirit.
 
Moreover, various educational activities will be carried out to inspire women's passion for studying the congress spirit so as to lead women to follow the leadership of the Party.
 
In addition, women's federations are encouraged to constantly improve their work approaches of serving women and make a plan to conduct women's work in the next five years.
 
Hubei Women's Federation
 
Peng Limin, president of the women's federation in central China's Hubei Province, presided over a meeting on October 30 to organize officials to study the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
On behalf of the federation, she made four requirements on how to promote the implementation of the congress spirit.
 
Officials are urged to make efforts to comprehend Xi's report on women and children as well as families; explore methods about the publicity of the congress spirit; promote federation reform with good results in combination with the congress spirit; and, enhance the federations' Party building and their self-improvement.
 
Yunnan Women's Federation
 
The women's federation in southwest China's Yunnan Province held a meeting on October 30 to organize officials to study the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
At the meeting, He Hongmei, president of Yunnan Women's Federation, urged local women's federations at all levels to take action to stimulate women's passion for studying the congress spirit.
 
The congress spirit should be implemented in various jobs of the federations, especially in helping women start entrepreneurship and innovation, and safeguarding women and children's legal rights and interests.
 
Guangdong Women's Federation
 
Feng Ling, Party group secretary of the women's federation in south China's Guangdong Province, put forward suggestions on the implementation of the spirit of the CPC congress at a meeting held on October 30.
 
At the meeting, Feng shared her feelings as a delegate to the CPC congress.
 
Feng said the congress spirit should be a guideline for local women's federations to innovate their work.
 
Officials should deeply comprehend the great importance of the CPC congress and upgrade their thoughts and actions by learning the congress spirit; try their best to conduct educational activities to encourage women to study the congress spirit; and, use what they have learned to advance women and children's development across the province.
 
Jiangsu Women's Federation
 
Miao Zhihong, president of the women's federation in east China's Jiangsu Province, hold a meeting on October 27 to convey the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
At the meeting, Miao stressed the importance of thoroughly studying and comprehending the congress spirit.
 
Miao said officials should comprehensively understand Xi's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and other aspects mentioned at the report.
 
Miao urged women's federations at different levels across the province to take prompt action to inspire women's passion for studying the congress spirit as well as using it to carry out their work.
 
Liaoning Women's Federation
 
The women's federation in northeast China's Liaoning Province held a meeting on October 27 to organize officials to study the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
Hu Lijie, president of the federation, attended the meeting and noted that women's federations at all levels should positively carry out educational activities to publicize the congress spirit; deeply understand Xi's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era; and, use innovative methods to allow people from the general population to study the congress spirit.
 
Gansu Women's Federation
 
The women's federation in northwest China's Gansu Province held a meeting on October 30 to discuss how to publicize the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
Hu Lan, vice-president of the federation, addressed the meeting.
 
Hu said women's federations at all levels should seriously carry out various activities to guide the study, publicity and implementation of the congress spirit.
 
For the next step, Hu announced that the federation will hold publicity activities at grassroots levels.
 
Henan Women's Federation
 
The women's federations at different levels in central China's Henan Province have recently held various meetings to organize officials to thoroughly study the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
Liang Liping, president of Pingdingshan Women's Federation, said more effective measures should be made to serve women and children.
 
Zhou Hui, president of Xinyang Women's Federation, hoped that women will show their wisdom and strength during the decisive stage in building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects.
 
Liu Chunxia, president of Shangqiu Women's Federation, stated that women's federation officials should keep the political task in mind to lead women to follow the leadership of the Party; adhere to women-centered concept to promote women and children's development and safeguard their rights and interests.
 
Hunan Women's Federation
 
Jiang Xin, president of the women's federation in central China's Hunan Province, convened a meeting on October 27 to call on officials to study the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
Jiang, who is also a delegate to the CPC congress, said the report delivered at the congress has summarized the country's work and historical progress over the past five years.
 
Meanwhile, Jiang interpreted the report about women and children in particular at the meeting.
 
Later, Jiang visited a local community in the city of Changsha to publicize the congress spirit among residents.
 
Wuhan Women's Federation
 
The women's federation in the city of Wuhan, central China's Hubei Province, recently held various symposiums to organize officials to study the spirit of the CPC congress.
 
Xu Li, president of Wuhan Women's Federation, urged women's federations at all levels across the city to seriously learn and implement the congress spirit.
 
Xu said officials and outstanding role models should play an active role in spreading the congress spirit; lead women to make new progress; and, constantly strengthen the construction of the federations.
