On March 25, under the guidance of the Beijing Women’s Federation (BWF), the BWF Social Organizations Joint Party Branch hosted the “She Loves Society: A Journey Toward Light” outstanding case showcase and themed Party Day event at the Beijing Women and Children’s Center. The event was co-hosted by the BWF Social Organizations Women Workers Committee and the Beijing Yueying New Women Development Promotion Center, bringing together representatives from more than 70 social organizations affiliated with the BWF, the Social Organizations Home platform, and the Working Committee on Women of Beijing’s Industry Associations and Chambers of Commerce. Du Chunxiao, a member of the Party leadership group and Vice President of BWF, attended the event.

Under the guidance of the BWF’s Society Work Department, the BWF Social Organizations Joint Party Branch carefully planned the event and curated a selection of exemplary projects, while professional teams from BWF-affiliated social organizations provided targeted support in refining project summaries, roadshow presentations, and promotional strategies. The event marked an innovative approach to advancing social organization development through Party building and served as a key capacity-building initiative to strengthen organizational foundations following the establishment of the Working Committee on Women and the Social Organizations Home platform.

During the event, four Beijing-based social organizations showcased their flagship initiatives: The Beijing Family Education Research Association presented “Cultivating New Buds with Wisdom: Xinrui Initiative—A Flagship Family Education Program”; Beijing Tao’s Library shared “Dancing Fingers, Touching the World: Tactile Book Creation for Visually Impaired Children”; the Beijing Yichuang Rural Women’s Philanthropy Development Center introduced the “Three-Heart Elderly Care Program: Empowering Women Through Healthcare Initiatives”; and the Beijing Yueying New Women Growth Center featured “Dandelion Stories: A Program to Enhance Female Leadership.”

Experts in attendance shared their insights on the featured initiatives, including Guo Yingxia, Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of Art, Communication University of China; Xu Xinyu, Deputy Director of the Beijing Qiyue Social Welfare Service Center; and Yang Liping, Secretary of the BWF Social Organizations Joint Party Branch. Their evaluations affirmed the social value of the initiatives and offered professional recommendations to support their future development.
