More than 50 outstanding female representatives from emerging sectors attended the event, including those from the Women’s Working Committee of the express delivery sector and the Women’s Working Committee of the on-demand delivery sector. Officials from relevant departments, including the Organization Department of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and the Beijing Municipal Social Work Department, were also present and extended warm holiday greetings to women working in emerging sectors.

The event featured Wu Jing, a female courier from YTO Express, who was warmly received by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour in Beijing. In simple and heartfelt words, she recalled the memorable moment when General Secretary Xi visited grassroots communities in Beijing and warmly greeted representatives of people in new forms of employment. His care and encouragement reflected the high importance the Party Central Committee attaches to workers in emerging sectors and conveyed an inspiring message that motivated participants to strive for new achievements in the coming year and work toward a better life.
Lu Ping, a National March 8 Red-Banner Pacesetter, Party Secretary of Beijing SF Express Co., Ltd., and Director of the Women’s Working Committee of SF Express, shared vivid stories of how the company has promoted women’s development through Party-building initiatives. By strengthening organizational networks and aligning women’s work with Party-building efforts, the company has ensured that every woman employee has organizational support, clear direction, and a trusted source of care and belonging.
During the event, female representatives of couriers, food delivery drivers, and ride-hailing drivers—the city’s “connectors”—shared heartwarming stories from their daily lives. Female livestream hosts and online writers—the city’s “voices”—spoke about staying true to their original aspirations amid the vast flow of information, using their voices and writing to spread warmth and positive energy. Female domestic workers—the city’s “guardians”—also shared moving stories about earning trust through professionalism and sincerity while helping maintain clean and comfortable homes.
Participants found the event deeply inspiring. They connected with one another, exchanged festive greetings, and took part in interactive activities such as handicraft making and portrait photography, as the festive atmosphere continued to build.
Amid laughter and cheerful conversation, women from emerging sectors enjoyed a warm and meaningful holiday together. Many participants said the event enabled them to deeply feel the warmth and care provided by the Women’s Federation, as well as the attention and support from organizations and all sectors of society. Looking ahead, they pledged to keep in mind General Secretary Xi’s earnest expectations, integrate their personal aspirations with the broader goals of the capital’s development and national prosperity, and contribute women’s strength to the high-quality development of Beijing.
