Safeguarding Women’s Health and Delivering Warmth: Beijing Women’s Federation Supports a Series of Women’s Care Activities
Date:2026-3-11 14:43:46 Views:From March 7 to 8, under the guidance of the Beijing Women’s Federation, the Women’s Federation of Wumart Group, together with the Beijing Women and Children Development Foundation, the Beijing Women Doctors' Association, and the Beijing Ai Wuhen Burn Rehabilitation Care Center, jointly organized a series of women’s care activities themed “Dmall Emotional Freedom Day.” The events were held at the Wumart Yutingqiao Store and the Metro Sijiqing Store in Beijing.
Safeguarding Women’s Health

At the event venues, doctors from the Beijing Women Doctors' Association provided free medical consultations to members of the public. They offered on-site consultations and answered questions on topics including internal medicine, gynecology, and chronic disease prevention, while also distributing health education materials.
Volunteers from the Beijing Ai Wuhen Burn Rehabilitation Care Center also shared practical knowledge on the prevention of everyday burns and scalds, as well as basic first-aid techniques.
Ms. Liu, a shopper, shared her experience: “My children often remind me to get regular health check-ups, but I always forget. Today, I noticed the free consultation and had my blood pressure checked while shopping. The doctor also gave me many helpful reminders. It felt very thoughtful.”

Celebrating Women’s Beauty
At the Wumart Yutingqiao Store, a small line formed in front of the “Life in Four Frames” photo booth. Nearby, a message wall quickly filled with handwritten notes expressing visitors’ thoughts and feelings, attracting many shoppers to stop, take photos, and share the moment.
Ms. Chen also shared her photos of her visit with friends. She said: “Since it’s International Women’s Day, I wanted to give myself a small sense of celebration. I didn’t expect to come across such a lovely photo spot just simply passing by the supermarket. Many of the messages on the wall express exactly what I’ve been wanting to say. Writing them down myself actually made me feel much better.”

Delivering Care and Warmth
During the event, the Women’s Federation of Wumart Group, together with the Beijing Women and Children Development Foundation, distributed care packages to women engaged in new forms of employment, including food delivery riders, couriers, and app-based domestic service workers, helping them feel the care and support of the women’s federation.
A representative of Wumart Group noted that women often take on multiple roles in both family and society and face different pressures. Through activities such as these, the company hopes that every woman can feel seen, supported, and cared for.
