To further advance the education campaign on establishing and practicing a correct understanding of what it means to perform well, while promoting child-centered principles and coordinated education among families, schools, and communities, the Social Organizations Joint Party Branch of the Beijing Women’s Federation, together with the Beijing Association of Women Kindergarten Principals, organized a themed Party Day activity titled “Party Building at the Grassroots Level” at Beijing No. 1 Kindergarten on June 2.

At the beginning of the event, participating Party members immersed themselves in observing the kindergarten’s self-directed play classes, red culture educational environment, and refined childcare and education management practices. Through these visits, they gained a comprehensive understanding of the kindergarten’s daily teaching, child development programs, and red culture-based early education. Participants experienced firsthand the educational philosophy of “laying the foundation for a happy life for every child” and closely examined how education in red culture and patriotism is integrated into children’s daily lives, play activities, and classroom learning. They also gained a deeper appreciation of the kindergarten’s practical approach to early childhood education, its commitment to dedicated service, and its focus on fostering moral development. These vivid examples of grassroots educational practice served as an inspiring model for Party members from women’s federation-affiliated social organizations, showing them how to fulfill their duties and deliver tangible results. The activity further strengthened their commitment to staying rooted at the grassroots level, serving women and children, and contributing to public well-being and peoples livelihoods.

During the event, Yang Liping, Secretary of the Social Organizations Joint Party Branch of the Beijing Women’s Federation, delivered her remarks. She noted that preschool education is both a vital public service benefiting countless families and a foundational undertaking for safeguarding children’s healthy development. It also serves as an important platform through which women’s federations support women, children, and families. She emphasized that all Party members of the branch and professionals working in early childhood education social organizations should take this themed Party Day activity as an opportunity to advance education on the correct understanding of what it means to perform well on a regular basis, accurately grasp the essential responsibilities of Party building and public service in the preschool education sector, and firmly establish a sound approach to evaluating achievements in preschool education for the new eraone centered on children’s growth, focused on the quality of care and education, and measured by public satisfaction.

During the Party-building experience-sharing session, Cai Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of Beijing No. 1 Kindergarten, delivered a presentation entitled Building a New Governance Framework of “Good Governance, Quality Education, and Collaborative Development”. She systematically shared the kindergarten’s approach to strengthening governance innovation through Party leadership, coordinating improvements in childcare and education guided by a sound performance-oriented philosophy, and promoting the institution’s long-term development. Sun Xuan, Vice Principal for Educational Affairs, presented Even a Party Group Can Accomplish Great Things, focusing on the development of grassroots Party groups. Liang Yan, Vice Principal for Educational Affairs and Chair of the Trade Union, delivered a presentation entitled Party Leadership in Multi-Stakeholder Governance and Democratic Empowerment for Kindergarten Development, introducing in detail the kindergarten’s Party-led model of home-school collaboration, democratic management, and multi-stakeholder governance. These practices effectively translate the strengths of Party building into advantages in education, service, and development, fully demonstrating the original aspiration and mission of educating and serving the people through concrete Party-building efforts.

This themed Party Day activity represents an important initiative by the Social Organizations Joint Party Branch of the Beijing Women’s Federation to deepen grassroots Party-building efforts, strengthen education on the correct understanding of what it means to perform well, and support the development of the early childhood education sector. It effectively established a platform for Party-building exchanges between women’s federation-affiliated social organizations and the capital’s early childhood education sector, fostering mutual learning and shared progress. The event not only enriched the forms and content of themed Party Day activities and reinforced the foundations of grassroots Party building, but also strengthened consensus among Party members in social organizations, further guiding them towards a practical, service-oriented, and people-centered approach to fulfilling their responsibilities and delivering benefits to the people.
