Date:2026-7-21 9:11:01 Views:To deepen the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, strengthen Party building within the Federation, and enhance the political competence and duty performance capabilities of both full-time and part-time Party affairs cadres, the Beijing Women’s Federation hosted its 2026 Party Affairs Cadre Training Program from July 14 to 17.
Zhao Hongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and President of the Beijing Women’s Federation, a Level I Bureau Rank Official, and Secretary of the Federation’s Party Committee, delivered remarks at the closing ceremony. Li Xiangfu, a Level II Bureau Rank Official of the Federation, gave a mobilization speech at the opening ceremony.
Attendees included members of the Federation’s Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission; Party branch secretaries, deputy secretaries, and committee members from government organs and affiliated public institutions; part-time Party affairs workers; and secretaries and committee members of joint Party branches for social organizations.

Tailored to the specific characteristics of the Federation’s Party building work, the training program prioritized political development of the Party. It combined theoretical instruction, practical guidance, and on-site teaching through a well-structured and comprehensive curriculum.
The program focused on the in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, his important discourses on establishing and practicing a correct understanding of governance performance and on strengthening Party branch development, the Long March and its spirit, as well as the interpretation and application of the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China. Experts and scholars were invited to deliver specialized lectures. In addition, officials from the Organization Department of the Working Committee for Organs Directly Under the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee were invited to give a dedicated session on the standardized and institutionalized development of Party branches.

For on-site learning, participants visited the Party Branch of the First Procuratorial Department of the Fourth Branch of the People’s Procuratorate of Beijing Municipality—a designated “Four Strong” Party Branch learning site under the Working Committee—to gain first-hand insights into advanced practices and experiences.

Representatives from five Party branches—the Party Branch of the General Administrative Office, the Party Branch of the Rights and Interests Department, the Party Branch of the Family and Children Department, the Party Branch of the Women’s Development Research Center, and the Joint Party Branch for Social Organizations—delivered thematic presentations on “In-depth Integration of Party Building and Professional Work,” sharing their work experiences and key takeaways.

Participants noted that the training program featured a systematic curriculum and diverse teaching methods, combining theoretical depth with practical relevance. The training helped strengthen their ideological foundation, clarify work approaches, and improve their duty performance capabilities, providing strong guidance for standardizing Party branch work in the future.

Moving forward, participants will leverage this training to translate their learning into practical capabilities for duty performance. They aim to become politically astute, proficient in Party building, and trusted advocates for women, thereby relying on high-quality Party building within the organization to guide and support the high-quality development of the initiatives taken by women’s federations.
