Date:2026-7-19 9:15:48 Views:As summer vacation begins, a wide variety of exciting activities are set to enrich children’s holiday experiences. In response to a notice jointly issued by the All-China Women’s Federation and 15 other departments, women’s federations at all levels across Beijing have rolled out a series of summer care services under the theme “Children Growing with the Party through Enlightening Readings.”
On July 18, the Beijing Women’s Federation successfully hosted its inaugural demonstration event, themed “Exploring the Moon and Chasing Stars: Kids on a Sci-Tech Journey.”

Designed to boost scientific literacy and innovative thinking among minors, the event was anchored by the “Beyond the Blue Planet: Lunar Exploration 2049” aerospace exhibition. By combining aerospace science education, hands-on skill training, team challenges, and parent-child creative workshops, the event encouraged children to step out of textbooks and into the world of sci-tech innovation. Through immersive experiences, it planted the seeds of interest in space exploration and sparked children’s creativity and innovative potential.

Moving forward, women’s federations at all levels across Beijing will leverage their strengths in coordination and collaboration to mark two major milestones: the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army.
With a focus on ideological guidance, family education support, safety awareness education, and targeted assistance, they will continue to provide services such as themed study tours, parent-child reading sessions, legal education classes, and summer childcare programs. Through these diverse and engaging activities, they aim to ensure that every child enjoys a safe, healthy, and joyful summer vacation.
