Beijing Women's Federation

To celebrate the Army Day on August 1, rally veteran cadres, and inspire all Party members and officials to take initiative and achieve excellence, the Beijing Women’s Federation recently held a group forum for veteran cadres. Zhou Zhijun, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and President of the Beijing Women’s Federation, presided over the meeting and delivered remarks. All veteran cadres from the Federation’s administrative organs and affiliated public institutions attended the forum.

The forum was held in a lively, sincere, and warm atmosphere. Participants took turns speaking, reminiscing about their military service, sharing insights on their personal growth, and exchanging views on their sense of mission and responsibility. They also offered constructive suggestions on the Federation’s future development.

After listening carefully to the speakers, Zhou Zhijun, on behalf of the Federation’s Leading Party Members’ Group, extended sincere holiday greetings and high respect to all veteran cadres, commending their long-standing contributions to the women’s federation. Addressing the new circumstances, tasks, and requirements for women’s and children’s work in Beijing in the new era, she expressed high expectations and set clear requirements:

First, stay true to the original aspiration and uphold fine traditions. Veteran cadres should continue to carry forward the military’s loyalty, commitment, discipline, pragmatism, and selfless dedication. They should transform the vigor and dedication forged in the military into motivation for fulfilling their duties and pursuing excellence, while always maintaining a positive image.

Second, cherish the platform for making contributions and fulfilling duties with responsibility. They should make full use of the growth opportunities and stages for achievement provided by the women’s federation. Grounded in their respective positions, they must be ready to take on responsibilities, and make active contributions.

Third, remain committed to learning, reflection, and continuous self-improvement. They should embrace lifelong learning, broaden their horizons, enhance professional capabilities, and cultivate a broader perspective, thereby achieving personal growth while advancing the cause.

The veteran cadres expressed their determination to cherish the trust and expectations placed upon them, remain true to their mission, and maintain the qualities of military personnel. They pledged to perform their duties with dedication and contribute their wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of women’s and children’s causes in the capital.
