The graduation ceremony for the Beijing Entrepreneur Training Camp (Cohort I), part of the Global Female Entrepreneurship Education Empowerment Program (GFEEP), was held at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). Co-organized by the Beijing Women’s Federation and BFSU, the program brought together 44 outstanding women entrepreneurs from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei Province, and other regions. Having completed a systematic business empowerment curriculum from June 26 to August 8, they were awarded their certificates of completion. Lei Xiaoning, Member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice President of the Beijing Women’s Federation, and Jia Dezhong, Deputy Secretary of the BFSU Party Committee, attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Liu Jing, winner of the graduation roadshow competition, took the stage alongside fellow outstanding trainees Liang Jing and Feng Ying to share their takeaways. Liu Jing, founder of Beijing KEY-BIO Biotech Co., LTD., drew on her firsthand experience of analyzing business models through real-world corporate cases, walking the audience through her journey from self-assessment and diagnostic analysis to the development of actionable improvement plans. After joining the program, Liang Jing received a 77-page Business Model Diagnostic Report. Studying it late into the night, she was deeply moved. The report pinpointed concrete pain points such as a single revenue model and unclear customer positioning, and systematically deconstructed the “experience-based intuition” she had once taken pride in. “At that moment, I felt completely shattered,” Liang Jing recalled. Yet it was precisely this process of breaking down and rebuilding—supported by her mentors and peers—that enabled her transformation from “thinking she had it all figured out” to achieving clarity and rational insight. She learned to use diagnostic tools to deconstruct cost structures, recalibrate her value proposition through nine core concepts, and chart a clear path from B2B to B2C across four rounds of assignments and refinement. She emphasized that the camp delivered not only a cognitive upgrade but also tangible business opportunities. During the program, trainees visited one another’s companies and forged multiple cross-industry collaborations, with one trainee closing three deals on the spot after a company visit. Feng Ying, in her remarks, called on all trainees to support the launch of the next cohort. “The resources, the empowerment, and the trust we’ve built with one another are the most precious takeaway beyond the classroom,” she said. “Let the chain of love continue, link by link, without end.”

At the ceremony, the organizers presented certificates of completion to the 44 graduates, teaching assistant appointment letters to eight outstanding volunteers, and certificates of honor to 10 award-winning trainees in the graduation roadshow competition.

In his speech, Jia Dezhong, Deputy Secretary of the BFSU Party Committee, encouraged the trainees to maintain a “beginner’s mindset,” embrace a spirit of co-creation, and shoulder their responsibilities as women leaders, translating what they had learned into concrete action that advances coordinated regional development and contributes to building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Lei Xiaoning, Member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice President of the Beijing Women’s Federation, noted that the training camp leveraged BFSU’s high-quality faculty and international platform, featuring specialized lectures, one-on-one business consultations, and hands-on roadshows. The women entrepreneurs brought real challenges from their businesses to the program and tackled them using their own companies as case studies. Many trainees not only secured business orders and fostered valuable bonds with their peers, but also volunteered to serve as teaching assistants for the Africa cohort and made donations to the program. This is a testament to the vitality, ambition, and sense of responsibility of women entrepreneurs in the capital, and to the tangible results of the training. She emphasized that graduation marks not the end but a new starting point for learning. She encouraged the trainees to stay connected and put learning into practice through innovation, maintain regular engagement with the Beijing Women’s Federation and the BFSU expert team, and turn training resources into real advantages for their own development; to support one another, grow together, and leverage their role as exemplars to build collective momentum for women’s entrepreneurship; and to act with purpose, and serve the broader development agenda, develop themselves while inspiring others, create more opportunities for women’s employment and entrepreneurship, and shoulder the mission and responsibility of women entrepreneurs in the capital.

Going forward, the Beijing Women’s Federation will continue to deepen its strategic partnership with BFSU, further develop the Beijing Entrepreneur Training Camp under the GFEEP framework, and build a regular, international, professional, and high-caliber empowerment platform to support the growth of women entrepreneurs in the capital and help them embrace broader opportunities.
