Guided by the Beijing Women's Federation and organized by the Beijing Women and Children's Service Center and a postal administration in Beijing, an online blind date gathering was held on Qixi Festival, Chinese Valentine's Day, which fell on August 14 this year. The activity advocated a healthy and rational view of marriage and love.

The organizers arranged colorful online activities such as talent show to arouse the attendees' enthusiasm and to build a bridge linking them.

Most of the 80-plus participants came from the postal administration or other grassroots units in the parcel delivery industry of the city. They hold fast to their positions, being so hardworking that their personal time for social communications has reduced. Love and marriage at the right age seems difficult for them.

Believing that the most ideal love is to walk side-by-side through life, making each other shine brightly and persevering through the years, the organizers expect to help single people build friendship and reap true affection and happiness.

The women and children's service center will actively play its role in providing meticulous care and services based on its work, which involves parent-child care for families with infants aged 0-6, safety exercise for families with children aged 6-12, family education for parents who have a child aged 0-18, and marriage services for single youths. Both online and offline, the organization is confident in offering customized help to enterprises through targeted activities and services.
