During the activity, the first "family-development station," which provides family-based services for couriers, take-away deliverymen and ride-hailing drivers, was inaugurated. Experts gave guidance on and answered questions for participating families about hot topics such as family education, promotion of education and especially all-round education, and enrollment policy.

Experts in the field of family education provide counseling services to participating families during the activity.

An Olympic-themed graffiti wall was set up to show paintings produced through parent-child cooperation. A curling competition was held to popularize the game to families and give a warm-up to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Diverse workshops for moon cakes, blessing lanterns and Tu'er ye, also known as the rabbit god, a traditional toy made from mud for the Mid-Autumn Festival, were held to help families learn about the origin, legend and customs of Mid-Autumn Festival.

Workshops themed on making moon cakes, blessing lanterns and Tu'er ye, the rabbit god, attract many families and enhance the parent-children interaction.

During the activity, the Beijing Women and Children's Development Foundation donated baby car seats to the participating families to better protect their children while travelling. He Liang, a chef and frequent guest on BTV (Beijing Television)'s food show, explained the cooking culture of Mid-Autumn Festival and demonstrated moon cake making techniques.

Participants were also organized to show their hand-made moon cakes with family members far away via video links. They climbed to the top of the tower with blessing lanterns and sent best wishes for their families and the motherland.

BWF has given full play to its pivotal role and has launched a project to provide services to couriers, take-away deliverymen and ride-hailing drivers in the city.

It has also made efforts to meet the increasing needs of match-making, traffic safety and self-improvement through coordinating resources to carry out a number of online and offline activities including marriage counseling services and safety education lectures.

BWF will continue to strengthen its efforts to show care and bring warmth to couriers, take-away deliverymen and ride-hailing drivers, and will take more concrete measures to improve the well-being of women. It will also mobilize more women to participate in the actions and better guide and serve women and their families, continuing to enhance their sense of gain, happiness and security.
