Beijing Women's Federation

With the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games just around the corner, to unite and lead women and families in Beijing to participate in and make contributions to the events, the Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) organized a series of activities and call on women and families to spread the Olympic spirit.

Singing Olympic Spirit

Cadres of BWF, women role models from all walks of life, the "Most Beautiful Family in Beijing," and international families were organized to sing and promote the song Together for a Shared Future, and record videos to show the eager expectations of Beijing's women and families for the event.

Shao Tianshuai, an artist from the Northern Kunqu Opera Theatre and a winner of Beijing March 8th Red-banner Holder Award and her team, and Liang Danni, an actress and a Capital Woman volunteer, participate in a singing activity for the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics.

Exercising with Passion for Olympics

Women and families are encouraged to make full use of the resources around them, carry out outdoor and indoor activities such as parent-child hiking, ice and snow sports and learn Winter Olympics knowledge, popularize health concepts, develop good habits, and increase their sense of participation in the Winter Olympics.

Women do exercises to improve physical fitness.

Women and families are encouraged to participate in children's painting activities, and better understand, participate in, and serve the Winter Olympics.

Creating Colors of Olympics

Women who are skillful in traditional handicrafts, including Beijing Qiaoniang (Smart Lady), were encouraged to actively develop and produce creative Winter Olympics-themed products, carry forward traditional Chinese culture, and show Beijing women's enthusiasm for taking part in and their support for the Winter Olympics.
