Four Collectives, Six Individuals from Women's Federations in Beijing Receive National Recognition

In order to encourage women to play exemplary roles, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China and the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) jointly issued a decision to honor outstanding collectives and individuals and model workers of women's federations from different regions of the country.

 

The decision was to award 150 collectives the title of "Advanced Collective of Women's Federations", 100 individuals the title of "Model Worker of Women's Federations" and 100 individuals the title of "Advanced Individual of Women's Federations." Among those honored were four collectives and six individuals from the women's federations in Beijing.

 

Honored as advanced collectives: Women's Federation of Xicheng District, Women's Federation of Xibeiwang (in Haidian District), Women's Federation of Yihai Garden Community (in Fengtai District), and Women's Federation of Wangjiamo Village in Dashiwo Town (in Fangshan District)

 

Honored as model workers:

Liu Jing, Secretary of the Party committee, Director of the residents' committee, and President of the Women's Federation of Shuizha West Road Community, in Longquan Town, Mentougou District

Zhao Hong, Secretary of the Party committee, Director of the residents' committee, and President of the Women's Federation of Laoshan Dongli North Community, Shijingshan District

Yi Ran (Mongol), Secretary of the Party committee, Director of the residents' committee and President of the Women's Federation of Longzeyuan Community, Changping District

 

Honored as advanced individuals:

Xu Guimin, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and President of the Women's Federation of Pinggu District

Li Nan, Director of the Publicity Department of the Women's Federation of Shunyi District

Yang Yi (of Hui ethnicity), Deputy Director of the Office of Working Committee for Children and Women of Dongcheng District, and Director of the Children's Department of the Women's Federation of Dongcheng District

 

The honorees have been excellent representatives of women's federations in Beijing in recent years. The organizations and cadres and workers at all levels of the BWF will follow the example of the honored advanced collectives, model workers and advanced individuals, and strive to build great causes, advocate civilization, and pursue dreams, making contributions to women's cause in the capital.
