Beijing Women's Federation

The 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), which was held from June 27 to 30, put forward guiding principles, goals and key measures in economic and social development during the next five years. It laid a solid foundation for the development of Beijing and drew up a road map for women's federations at all levels to make more achievements in the new journey and play a better role in driving the development of the city in the new era.

Women's federations, at all levels, in Beijing have convened special meetings to convey and study the spirit of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the CPC, unify thinking and action of Party members and cadres on fulfilling tasks set at the municipal Party congress, and greet the convocation of the upcoming 20th National Congress of the CPC with concrete actions.

Shijingshan District

A meeting is held by Shijingshan Women's Federation to convey the spirit of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the CPC.

Shijingshan Women's Federation recently held two meetings to convey and implement the spirit of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the CPC. Zhang Fan, Secretary of the Leading Party Group and President of the federation, led attendees to thoroughly study the work report delivered by Cai Qi, Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC, at the opening ceremony of the congress. She urged women’s federations in Shijingshan to take the learning, promotion and implementation of the spirit of the Party congress as a primary political task now and in the future and unify women’s thinking and action on the spirit of the municipal Party congress. She urged the federations to fully understand the importance of Beijing's role as capital city and to prioritize the adherence of correct political direction and the awareness of the overall picture in work. She called on cadres to channel the results from the learning of the spirit of the municipal Party congress into strong momentum, deepen the implementation of specific tasks, make unique contributions to the development of the district as the western gate of Beijing, and greet the convocation of the upcoming 20th National Congress of the CPC with concrete actions.

Daxing District

A meeting is held by Daxing Women's Federation to convey the spirit of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the CPC.

Daxing Women's Federation held a meeting on July 8 to convey the requirements of a keynote speech made by Wang Youguo, Secretary of the Daxing District Committee of the CPC, during a meeting on the learning and implementation of the spirit of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the CPC. Cao Jing, Secretary of the Leading Party Group of Daxing Women's Federation, said that the federation would unify thinking and action on the spirit of the municipal Party congress and work hard for the development of Daxing. Cao asked staff members to understand well the relationship between the Party congress and the five-year development plan and prepare ideologically for the 20th National Congress of the CPC. She urged women’s federations to join the efforts of the district in achieving high-quality and leap-frog development, and use the congress spirit to guide their work, harnessing strength from women in striving for common goals.

Fangshan District

A meeting is held by Fangshan Women's Federation to convey the spirit of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the CPC.

Fangshan Women's Federation recently held a meeting among Party members to convey and implement the spirit of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the CPC. In her speech, Wang Hongying, Secretary of the Leading Party Group and President of the federation, said that staff members would earnestly learn and implement the spirit of the congress and follow the decisions and policies of the CPC Central Committee, the municipal and the district Party committees. Women’s federations in Fangshan should intensify the efforts to safeguard the lawful rights and interests of women, carry forward the building of beautiful courtyards and civilized families, and organize women to proactively take part in the maintenance of public order. The federations should deepen reform and promote the implementation of the outlines for the development of women and children during the 14th Five-year Plan period, preparing for the convening of the 20th National Congress of the CPC with full enthusiasm, down-to-earth approach, fine conduct and outstanding performance.

Changping District

A meeting is held by Changping Women's Federation to celebrate the 101th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and convey the spirit of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the CPC.

Changping Women's Federation recently held a meeting to mark the 101th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and convey the spirit of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the CPC. Sun Xuelian, Member of the Leading Party Group and Vice-President of Changping Women's Federation, said that women federations in Changping should take the learning and implementation of the spirit of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the CPC as a primary political task now and in the future. Sun called on women cadres to follow fine conduct and remain true to their original aspiration, strengthen determination to serve women, enhance discipline building and deepen the understanding of their mission. All Party members of the federation should contribute to women and children’s development with passion and concrete work.

Pinggu District

A meeting is held by Pinggu Women's Federation to convey the spirit of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the CPC.

Pinggu Women's Federation held a meeting on July 1 to convey and implement the spirit of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the CPC. It was stressed at the meeting that the leading Party group of the federation should take the lead in learning the spirit of the municipal Party congress and women's federations, at all levels, should hold activities to promote the spirit of the municipal Party congress in an easily understandable language to guide women in following the Party. Federations should attach great importance to ideological and political guidance, family building and the protection of women and children’s rights, and resolve an array of urgent, difficult and long-standing affairs for women and children, greeting the convening of the 20th National Congress of the CPC with outstanding performance.
