BWF Provides Psychological Counseling to Flood-affected Women, Children
Date:2023-8-10 16:42:14 Views:Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) has organized experts, scholars and mental health workers to provide women and children in flood-affected areas with psychological counseling and further ease psychological pressure of front-line relief workers and women volunteers.
Members in the mental health service team come from universities in Beijing, the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and some psychological aid centers. They all have rich post-disaster psychological intervention experience. They are expected to offer women, children, their families, rescue workers and women volunteers one-to-one psychological counseling services and mental health lectures.
The mental health service team will devote special attention to the mental health of flood-affected women and children in the reconstruction works.
