The research and practice base will create a platform for the practical application of anti-domestic violence theories in the judicial fields. It is expected to push for the building of a green channel for hearing the application of a restraining order and the establishment of special anti-domestic violence collegial panels, hoping to better address the challenges in curbing domestic violence in the judicial fields, make the anti-domestic violence work to be institutional, normalized and standard in judicial cases, and effectively prevent and deter the occurrence of domestic violence.

As a regional mass organization, BWF has made full use of its special roles in supporting the judicial organs and the departments of public security, health, civil affairs and education in the fulfillment of their obligations, strengthening the principles of collaborative management, and building a multi-dimensional anti-domestic mediation and coordination mechanism over the past years. For the next step, BWF will continue exploring anti-domestic violence models that integrate publicity education, judicial work, assistance and relief, the prevention and mediation of marriage and family disputes for Beijing’s unique conditions as a megacity and will promote the thorough implementation of the Anti-Domestic Violence Law and fully guarantee the lawful rights and interests of women and children.
