Beijing Women's Federation (BWF), Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, Beijing Municipal Supervisory Commission, the Organization Department of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, and the Working Committee on Party Affairs for Departments Directly under the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee on August 23 jointly held an activity on the practice of integrity and the building of a well-managed family. Their objectives are to promote the study and implementation of important discourses made by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee on family, family education and family tradition, and fully grasp the content and requirements concerning family virtues in the new era. They invited representatives of the Capital’s Most Beautiful Families to visit an educational base on fine Party conduct in Shoushuihe residential community of Financial Street sub-district in Xicheng district.

The educational base exhibits famous and thought-provoking catchphrases, typical stories, fine traditions and self-made artistic products. All of them are related to the observation of clean and fine personal conduct and family traditions, winning high acclaim from the audience.

"It is very necessary to fight corruption and build a clean government after seeing many typical cases. Only by helping the people fasten their first button of integrity, nipping the signs of corruption in the bud, and building a strong ideological line of defense against corruption can a clean and upright social environment be fostered," said Zhu Maojin, an honoree of the Capital’s Top 10 Most Beautiful Families, in 2022, during the visit.

"Integrity is closely relevant to us and it is a kind of self-discipline and self-cultivation. I have acquired a thorough understanding of the importance of helping children nurture the awareness of integrity since childhood and stay focused on their lofty dream instead of being engulfed by irrational desire," says Zhao Jinliang, a recipient of the Capital’s Most Beautiful Families award.

Li Caixian, a nominee of the Capital’s Most Beautiful Families for the third quarter in 2021 and head of a women volunteers’ team, gave a thumbs-up to the activity and said that the educational base on fine Party conduct in a residential compound has enabled youths to better incorporate clean and fine conduct into their lives.

Family traditions are closely linked to Party conduct and the building of a clean government. It is thus of great importance to strengthen the building of Party conduct and integrity, promote positive social norms, foster fine family traditions, push for the formation of sound social environment through family traditions, and advance the building of new socialist ethical-progress which advocates the love of country and family and seeks integrity as well as benevolence.
