BWF Hosts District Women's Federation Leadership Training Session

The session was aimed at enhancing the performance and professional competence of district women's federation leadership members. Sixty people, including presidents and vice-presidents from 16 district women's federations and leaders from city-level women's organizations in Beijing, attended the training.
Zhao Hongwei, Vice-President of the BWF, emphasized the significance of the training in her opening speech. She also made arrangements about further reforms of women's federations.
The training emphasized the close integration of theory and practice and included two special seminars and five sessions on women's federations' specific tasks. Professor Liu Zhifeng from the Beijing Municipal Party Committee School delivered a lecture on the "Action Plan for Comprehensively Deepening Reform in Next Five Years," while Sun Qianbin, President and Editor-in-Chief of China Women's News, spoke on publicity work related to women's affairs.

During the training, four members of BWF's leadership explained the tasks and objectives of women's federations' reforms. A representative from Beijing Women's International Center gave an introduction of the building of the capital's women and children's development base.
During group discussions, trainees expressed their thoughts and exchanged ideas on further deepening reform of women's federations. The participants unanimously agreed that the training content was rich and practical. They said they will take actions based on the requirements for comprehensively deepening reform of women's federations under the guidance of the BWF, promoting mutual learning, integrating resources effectively and ensuring the successful implementation of reform tasks.

Trainees pledged to translate their learning results into practical actions to deepen the reforms of women's federations and promote high-quality development of women and children's affairs in the capital, continuously enhancing their "five capabilities" to meet the evolving needs of women's federation's reforms and successfully fulfill various tasks.
