Beijing Women's Federation

On June 4, 2013, Beijing Women’s Federation received friendly a 17-person delegation with Eit Niemi Clement, Director of General Secretary of the General Office of People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy of the Democratic Republic of Congo (hereinafter referred to as “People's Party”) as the head of the delegation. The People’s Party is the governing party of Congo and built friendly exchange relationship with the Communist Party of China in 2007. All members of the delegation are heads of the People’s Party from ten provinces and Kinshasa – the capital of Congo. The visit was intended to learn successful experience of the Communist Party in increasing the capacity of reining economic and social development.

Zhao Jinfang, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of Beijing Women’s Federation accompanied the delegation on the visit of Beijing Women and Children Social Service Center. Afterwards, they warmly discussed topics like the ways of protecting rural women's rights and interests, housekeeping training, services for foreign women as well as the protection of women’s rights and interests from the perspective of legislation.
