The 48th regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council

Beijing Women's Federation organized several women's organizations in Beijing to submit written statements to the 48th regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), as a member unit of the Beijing NGO Association for International Exchanges. The organizations shared Beijing's experience regarding family education, women's employment, education empowerment and legislation, and advocated the shared human values of peace, development, fairness, justice, democracy and freedom.

The official website of the session shows written statements registered by Beijing's women's organizations.

The organizations, including Association of Women Professors in the Capital, Beijing Women's Law Research Society, Beijing Family Education Research Society and Beijing Women's International Center, submitted written reports to the UNHRC, which involves improving women's education level, speeding up the construction of the rule of law system for women's sake, safeguarding women's rights and interests in families, and promoting women's employment. This move was expected to provide a Beijing solution for safeguarding and promoting women's equal access to rights. This helped enhance the international influence of Beijing's women's organizations.

Strongly supported by the Beijing NGO Association for International Exchanges, women's organizations gave full play to their professional advantages. China's mainstream media outlets such as People's Daily, CCTV, and China News Service reported the event.
