Beijing Women's Federation

The Embassy of China in Armenia holds a women's health lecture with the help of Beijing Women's Federation. 

The Embassy of China in Armenia planned an International Women's Day event for women diplomats and spouses of diplomats on March 7. According to the embassy's needs, Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) played an active role and helped it hold an online women’s health lecture.  

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, many Chinese diplomats have had to stay overseas at their posts for a long time. The BWF invited Liu Yang, Deputy Chief Physician at the Center for Reproductive Medicine of Chuiyangliu Hospital affiliated to Tsinghua University and a member of the Jiu San Society, to give lectures on women's health via video link and offered one-on-one guidance to overseas embassy staff.

The activity closely fit the needs of women and showed love and care for women abroad, who will make greater contributions to advancing major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics, according to the participants.

After the event, the embassy sent a letter of thanks to BWF for its support. In the context of regular epidemic prevention and control, BWF will continue to provide platforms and services to promote women's exchanges.
