Beijing District Women's Federation Helps More Talents Start Businesses

The event totally issued 1.4 million yuan in total to 12 women's achievement demonstration bases, key projects, associations and women's entrepreneurship programs.
The initiative aimed at encouraging enterprises to lead more women contribute their efforts to rural revitalization.
Speaking via video link, several managers introduced their efforts in popularizing rural industries; improving food quality; offering skills training to physically-impaired women, tackling employment problems; and, innovating management models.
Sui Yanling, President of the Changping Women's Federation, attended the event and put forward three demands to all projects and bases granted funds in the scheme.
First, they should further study and implement the spirit of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and accurately understand the core essence and requirements of the Rural Revitalization strategy.
Second, all demonstration bases should try their best to lead people to achieve the poverty-alleviation goals and contribute efforts to build a moderately prosperous society.
Third, project leaders should strengthen their supervision of expenditure to guarantee that the money is used exclusively for specific purposes.
