To promote Party history learning and education, educate and guide Party members to strengthen their ideals and beliefs and carry forward revolutionary traditions, Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) organized all its Party members to visit an exhibition themed on "stay true to our founding mission" at the Museum of the Communist Party of China (CPC), in Beijing, on July 23.
The Beijing Women and Children Development Foundation (BWCDF) quickly contacted its counterpart in Central China's Henan Province to learn more about disaster relief needs after heavy downpours and flooding hit the province, said the Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) on July 25. BWCDF called on members of its boards of directors and supervisors to extend a helping hand to disaster-hit areas.
Participants of a learning camp of the Beijing Women's Federation (BWF), led by Zhao Hongwei, member of the Leading Party Members' Group and Vice-President of BWF, visited two exhibitions on July 2 at the China National Museum of Women and Children. Song Fang, Deputy Director of the museum, accompanied the visitors.
In response to the requirements of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) in advancing women's scientific and technological innovation, and giving full play to the role of women professors in Beijing, a forum on promoting women's scientific and technological innovation, guided by the Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) and organized by the Capital Women Professors' Association (CWPA), was held at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) on July 15. Women academicians, Cheung Kong Scholars, representatives of outstanding youth, and nearly 70 delegates from more than 50 colleges and universities, all of which are CWPA members, attended the forum to discuss the development of technological innovation.
